Springfield, Virginia

Out-of-Towners

Springfield, Virginia is a very regular suburb, and the best place in America.

Staying in Springfield:

We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at a nearby hotel, which will provide a shuttle service to and from the wedding. Please contact us for the Room Code:

Staying in D.C.:

Washington D.C. is about a 25 minute drive from Springfield. If you're staying in D.C. we recommend taking the metro to the Springfield/Franconia stop.

Recommended hotels in D.C. by Genilson Brandao:

Hotels we usually recommend to our out-of-town guests:

Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel

It's a small, boutique hotel in our neighborhood, Logan Circle, on Rhode Island Ave between 14th and 15th Streets. It's not cheap, but not bad, either. Kim and Ted just stayed there and loved it!

Holiday Inn Central DC/White House

This is another good option in Logan Circle. It's moderately priced and the rooms are large and nice. Mark's parents swear by it.

Hotel Rouge

This is also a Kimpton boutique hotel on 16th Street near Scott Circle between Logan and Dupont Circle. We like the small feel of it.

Hotels we've heard nice things about:

W Hotel

It's close to the White House and the National Mall. It's trendy and a good spot for people who want to be social.

The Mandarin Hotel

This hotel is in the southwest quadrant of the city, which is up-and-coming. It has great amenities; we know people who like to spend the day there luxuriating in their spa facilities.
